Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking an Edifecs Platform Operations Lead to manage Edifecs platform operations for VA-focused initiatives in a remote capacity.

You will oversee architecture, roadmap, and deployment, working with EDI analysts, DevSecOps, cloud teams, and business stakeholders to ensure stability, security, and performance of Edifecs processing rules, routing, and batch workflows.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years in EDI, healthcare, or enterprise applications with strong AWS experience.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust (MBI) clearance.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Edifecs Platform Manager leading the Edifecs application support organization, ensuring operational stability, scalability, compliance, and strategic alignment.
• Provide technical oversight, manage staffing, and drive roadmap execution.
• Partner with product, architecture, vendor, and business teams.
• Guide architecture decisions, modernization efforts, cloud scalability, and performance strategies.
• Configure and maintain Edifecs components and related modules.
• Guide EDI Analysts with building, deployment, and optimization of Edifecs processing rules.
