Job summary

AAPC is seeking a remote Emergency Department and Urgent Care coder with at least 5 years of ED/urgent care coding experience. The role requires independence, organization, and a strong command of CPT/ICD-10, modifiers, and HIPAA compliance.

Ideal candidates will be proficient with Cerner and Epic, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and time management in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of coding experience in ED/urgent care.
• Extensive coding in ED and urgent care CPT/ICD-10.
• Validate hard-coded CPTs/charges and apply modifiers correctly.
• Strong knowledge of Cerner and Epic systems.

Responsibilities
