Job summary

Virtual Vocations Inc is seeking an Emergency Coder with Certification for a full-time remote role focused on accurately coding medical records for urgent care and ER services.

You will follow ICD-10 and CPT guidelines, apply modifiers, stay updated on coding changes, and maintain confidentiality.

Must have at least 5 years in ED/urgent care coding and CPC/CCS/CEDC/RHIT/RHIA, with Cerner and Epic experience and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of coding experience in emergency department and urgent care settings.
• Certification such as CPC, CEDC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, or RHIA.
• Extensive knowledge of modifier application and coding guidelines.
