829 Studios is seeking a mid-level E-Commerce Email Marketing Strategist to own client conversations about performance and technical setup in Klaviyo, while collaborating with our Inbound Team. You’ll drive lifecycle marketing programs, automate workflows, and act as a thought leader on Email and Automation within a dynamic agency setting.

This role requires 4+ years in email marketing (agency preferred), strong ESP experience, and a product-owner mentality to shape how we service clients.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of email marketing experience, preferably in an agency setting.
• Experience leading strategy for an e-commerce brand.
• Familiar with ESPs and marketing automation tools such as Klaviyo, Marketo, MailChimp, Active Campaign, HubSpot, Braze.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration and customer-satisfaction focus.
• Experience in marketing automation, lead generation, and lead nurturing.
• SMS experience with platforms like Sakari and Attentive.

Responsibilities

• Execute client lifecycle marketing plans to meet schedules, performance, and budget goals.
• Lead monthly performance reviews with insights, wins, and recommendations.
• Manage email marketing initiatives, calendars, and timely deployments.
• Coordinate with Product-Services, Web, Paid Search, and Paid Social teams.
• Own email marketing thought leadership within the team.
• Ensure campaigns align with broader marketing initiatives.
