Job summary

STGi is seeking an Early Childhood Specialist to support our Head Start Training and Technical Assistance team in Region 8 (CO/MT). The position is remote with travel up to 50% as assigned.

The ECS provides professional expertise in early childhood education through consultation, training, policy development, and statewide collaboration among Head Start/TSA recipients across birth to five programs. The role involves intensive on-site or virtual support, development of family engagement

Qualifications

• Expertise in early childhood education and development.
• Ability to provide group or on-site TTA and training.
• Knowledge of PFCE framework and family engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site, group, or virtual TTA to HS/EHS grant recipients on school readiness, family engagement, and professional development.
• Support the selection and implementation of ongoing child assessment, curriculum, and learning environments.
• Help recipients improve teacher/child interactions as described by CLASS in center-based Head Start programs.
