CVS Health is hiring an EAP Clinical Counselor for a fully remote role in the USA. You will provide immediate, 24/7 mental health support via video, live chat or phone to members nationwide.

This role requires crisis intervention experience, a current independent license, and 24/7 call center coverage. Responsibilities include risk assessments, care coordination, and up-to-date documentation.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of crisis intervention experience.
• Valid unrestricted independent behavioral health professional license to practice per state regulations.
• 24x7x365 call center coverage required; holiday coverage expected.
• Experience facilitating patient/client positive behavior change.
• Experience handling mental health, psychiatric care, family situations and relationship concerns preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone-based assessment, triage, counseling and information in a call center setting.
• Assess risk, substance use and mental health to develop immediate safety plans.
• Understand levels of care to guide appropriate referrals based on need.
• Explain mental health resources and connect members to appropriate services.
• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure positive clinical outcomes.
• Maintain confidentiality and complete documentation per policy and regulation.
