EBSCO Information Services is seeking an E-Content Specialist to build and maintain the Global Knowledge Base (GKB), ensuring high-quality metadata for electronic resources and accurate linking to full text. You will work with external partners to establish data feeds, manage collections, and resolve data issues through root-cause analysis and proactive solutions.

The role emphasizes remote, nationwide collaboration within a multi‑person Global Knowledge Base team, with strong Excel capabilities

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with large datasets and metadata
• 2+ years coordinating with third‑party vendors and managing high‑volume communications
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, advanced formulas and handling datasets >50,000 rows

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a comprehensive Global Knowledge Base (GKB) with metadata about electronic resources
• Establish quality data feeds with external data partners and load/manage collections in the GKB
• Analyze and remediate data gaps, perform root-cause analysis and document internal processes
• Create and maintain documentation describing metadata transformation and loading
• Source and structure required metadata when not provided, ensuring successful loading into the GKB
• Prioritize weekly tasks and report progress in daily team meetings
• Collaborate with team members and cross‑functional partners to meet goals
