Job summary

EBSCO Information Services, Inc. is seeking an E-Content Specialist to build and maintain a high‑quality Global Knowledge Base (GKB). You will manage metadata feeds, ensure accurate linking to full text, and resolve data issues for end users.

You will collaborate with global providers and cross‑functional teams to meet data quality standards, document processes, and drive timely resolutions for metadata challenges.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with large datasets, metadata, or electronic resources.
• 2+ years of experience coordinating with third‑party vendors and managing high‑volume communications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and advanced formulas, with datasets over 50,000 rows.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain metadata collections in the Global Knowledge Base (GKB).
• Analyze publisher metadata for completeness and quality; identify gaps and remediate them.
• Create, load, and maintain collections in the GKB with descriptions, classifications and attributes.
• Develop internal docs describing how metadata should be transformed for loading.
• Research and source required metadata when not provided and ensure proper loading.
