Job summary

EBSCO Information Services is seeking an E-Content Specialist to build and maintain a Global Knowledge Base (GKB). You will ensure accurate linking to full text by managing metadata feeds, partnering with data providers, and maintaining high data quality in a centralized system.

This remote role is US-based only with hybrid in-person requirements depending on location. You will collaborate with a 30-person Global Knowledge Base Team, develop documentation, and drive metadata standards across

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with metadata or large datasets.
• 2+ years coordinating with third-party vendors.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivots, 50k+ rows).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with global providers to obtain metadata.
• Analyze publisher metadata for completeness and accuracy.
• Create, load, and maintain GKB collections with metadata.
• Develop internal docs on how metadata is transformed for loading.
• Research and source required metadata when not provided.
• Prioritize weekly tasks and report progress in daily meetings.
• Collaborate with team and cross-functional partners to meet goals.
