Job summary

Talentoma is seeking an entry-level Order Processor for a fully remote role based in New York. The position supports online order review, status updates, and efficient routing to fulfillment.

You will collaborate with the customer service team lead and work with Magento, Copper, Help Scout, and Airtable to keep orders accurate and well-documented. The role requires a 40-hour weekly commitment with varying shifts and working days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Entry level: no experience required, related experience preferred.
• Interest in online retail order review, customer requests, product information, and ecommerce workflows.
• Familiarity with an ecommerce platform such as Magento, a CRM such as Copper, or a support platform such as Help Scout preferred.
• Ability to enter order details carefully, compare information across systems, and recognize missing or conflicting details.
• Ability to write clear customer updates and communicate respectfully with customers and internal contacts.
• Ability to follow established steps, maintain complete order notes, and manage assigned worklists in Airtable.
• Reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a quiet private workspace, with availability for the 40-hour weekly commitment and agreed working days and shift times.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Fully remote work from home supporting online retail customers and order workflows.
• Structured onboarding and training on Magento, Copper, Help Scout, and Airtable.
• Regular check-ins with the customer service team lead for guidance and feedback.
• Skill building in online order review, product information navigation, customer status updates, and workflow coordination.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming online orders from assigned queues, customer emails, and service tickets to identify the requested items, quantities, delivery details, and customer notes.
• Enter and update order information in an ecommerce platform such as Magento while following established order review steps.
• Check customer and order details against available product information, noting missing, unclear, or conflicting information before the request moves forward.
• Use a CRM such as Copper to record order status, customer contacts, actions taken, and relevant follow-up details.
• Respond to routine customer questions about order status, available product information, and next steps through a support platform such as Help Scout.
• Maintain a clear worklist in a spreadsheets and data entry tool such as Airtable to organize assigned requests and pending follow-ups.
• Contact customers when clarification is needed for incomplete order details, using clear and professional written messages.
• Route product availability questions, fulfillment delays, or system issues to the appropriate fulfillment contact, product information contact, or customer service team lead.
• Monitor open requests, review updates from internal contacts, and provide customers with timely status information when available.
• Meet quality expectations measured by order accuracy, timely turnaround, complete notes, and appropriate follow-up on unresolved requests.
