Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced E-commerce Operations Manager to lead remote online sales processes, including inventory, order fulfillment, logistics and customer service. You will optimize workflows, implement best practices, and leverage technology to enhance the customer experience and profitability.

The role requires a strong understanding of supply chain dynamics, data-driven decision making, and proven leadership in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in e-commerce operations or supply chain management.
• Proven experience in fulfillment, logistics and inventory for online retail.
• Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms and order management systems (OMS).
• Analytical, data-driven approach to decision-making and optimization.
• Experience leading remote teams and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day e-commerce operations including order processing, inventory management, fulfillment and shipping.
• Develop strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve delivery times.
• Manage relationships with 3PL providers, carriers and operational vendors.
• Ensure accurate inventory across all channels and distribution points.
• Monitor key metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Develop and refine SOPs for all e-commerce operations.
• Collaborate with customer service to resolve order-related issues promptly.
• Identify and implement technology solutions to automate processes.
• Manage returns and exchanges to maximize customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
