Job summary

Placements24's client, a rapidly scaling e-commerce enterprise, seeks an E-commerce Operations Manager to lead daily operations, inventory, fulfillment, and logistics in a fully remote role.

You will optimize workflows, implement best practices, and leverage technology to enhance customer experience and profitability, while collaborating with a remote team to maintain high service standards across all touchpoints of the ecommerce journey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in ecommerce operations or supply chain.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision making.
• Experience leading remote teams and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day ecommerce operations: order processing, inventory, fulfillment, and shipping.
• Develop strategies to improve efficiency, cut costs, and speed delivery.
• Manage relationships with 3PLs, carriers and other vendors.
• Maintain accurate inventory across channels and points of distribution.
• Monitor key metrics and implement corrective actions.
• Create and refine SOPs for ecommerce operations.
• Collaborate with customer service to resolve order issues.
• Identify tech solutions to automate processes and reduce toil.
• Manage returns/exchanges to minimize loss and boost satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
