Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced E-commerce Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day online business functions. This fully remote role focuses on order fulfillment, inventory control, customer service excellence, and efficient supply chain logistics for a fast-growing online business.

You will lead a remote team, optimize processes, and drive data-driven improvements to deliver a superior customer experience while maintaining cost efficiency and scalable operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce operations management or a similar role.
• Proven track record in optimizing order fulfillment, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify Plus, Magento) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decisions.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience managing remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of e-commerce operations, including order processing, fulfillment, shipping, and returns management.
• Manage inventory levels, forecasting demand, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure product availability.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the customer experience.
• Lead and mentor the customer service team to ensure prompt and effective resolution of customer inquiries and issues.
• Monitor key operational metrics and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and IT teams to align operational capabilities with business objectives.
