Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned E-commerce Operations Manager to oversee and optimize online sales channels from Paarl, with hybrid work balance. You’ll drive efficiency, enhance customer experience and contribute to strategic growth of the online business.

Responsibilities include website management, order fulfillment, inventory control and customer service leadership, supported by a strong background in OMS/WMS and supply chain. This role offers growth and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in e-commerce operations management or similar role.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms, OMS and WMS.
• Strong understanding of supply chain, logistics and inventory control.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily e-commerce operations, ensuring seamless website functionality and a positive customer journey.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for stock availability and replenishment.
• Streamline order fulfillment processes with logistics partners for timely delivery.
• Implement and manage procedures to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor KPIs for e-commerce operations and report trends for improvement.
• Supervise and train customer service representatives to ensure exceptional support.
