Mira, a San Francisco-based hormonal health company, seeks an e-commerce accountant with CPA to own monthly closings and US GAAP-compliant bookkeeping. Ideal candidates are proficient in QuickBooks Online, Shopify/A2X, and financial reconciliation and reporting.

Qualifications

2+ years of ecommerce financial operation experience with Shopify.
Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Experience in Transfer Pricing and Consolidation.
Experience in managing the invoicing process.
Excellent communication skills; able to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with high accuracy in financial reporting.
Able to adapt to a fast-paced startup environment and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

Perform bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting tasks for e-commerce operations.
Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger for accurate records.
Reconcile bank accounts, payment gateway transactions, and inventory.
Coordinate with international accounting team on inventory, consolidation, and transfer pricing.
Prepare and deliver US GAAP-compliant financial statements on time.
Conduct monthly and year-end closings with accurate reporting.
Perform self-reviews for accuracy and identify improvements.
Review books for tax planning opportunities.
Clean up existing bookkeeping issues and automate invoicing.
Perform monthly financial analysis on variances and report sales tax.
