Job summary

The Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit (JFD) is hiring a Dynamics 365 CRM Technical Lead for a fully remote role based in the United States. You will own the Dynamics 365 CRM and Dataverse, guiding architecture decisions and hands-on delivery across development, testing, and production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in CS/IS or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring, administering, and supporting Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement in production.
• Experience leading D365 solution design and implementation including directing external partners or developers.
• Ability to work independently across multiple roles on a small team: administrator, solution designer, Power Platform developer, analyst, and Tier 2/3 support.
• Strong knowledge of Dataverse, model-driven Power Apps, Power Automate, D365 security, and solution/release management.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills, and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical owner of Dynamics 365 CRM and Dataverse, responsible for config, customization, security, and system health.
• Design and build tables, forms, views, business rules, and process flows; manage deployments across Dev, UAT, and Production.
• Review and approve system changes, customizations, and integration designs.
• Own system jobs, duplicate detection, and data quality.
• Partner with departments to define future-state processes and translate needs into requirements, test plans, and solutions that leverage standard platform functionality.
• Lead upgrades, integrations, data migration, UAT, and deployments; evaluate new Microsoft capabilities for business value.
• Build Power Automate flows, Power Apps, and Power BI reports to reduce manual work using Azure services and AI tools.
