Job summary

Jewish Federation of Detroit is seeking a Dynamics 365 CRM Technical Lead for a fully remote, U.S.-based role. You will own how Dynamics 365 supports operations, set direction, and build, administer, and support what you design.

A small IT team will rely on your architecture decisions and hands-on execution. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of hands-on D365 Customer Engagement experience, with leadership of solution design and external partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent).
5+ years hands-on experience configuring, administering, and supporting Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement in production.
Experience leading D365 solution design and implementation, including directing external partners or developers.
Ability to work independently across multiple roles on a small team (administrator, solution designer, Power Platform developer, analyst, Tier 2/3).
Strong knowledge of Dataverse, model-driven Power Apps, Power Automate, D365 security, and release management.
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills for explaining technical issues to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary technical owner of Dynamics 365 CRM and Dataverse, responsible for configuration, security, and system health.
Design and build tables, forms, views, business rules, and process flows; manage deployments across Dev, UAT, and Production.
Review and approve system changes, customizations, and integration designs.
Own system jobs, duplicate detection, and data quality.
Partner with departments to define future-state processes and translate needs into requirements and test plans.
Lead upgrades, integrations, data migration, UAT, and deployments; evaluate Microsoft capabilities for business value.
Build Power Automate flows, Power Apps, and Power BI reports to reduce manual work; use Azure services where appropriate.
Educate stakeholders on D365 functionality and promote standard platform capabilities.
Define future-state processes and solution architectures across D365 applications.
Coach and mentor analysts and project team members on solution design principles.
