Job summary

All Aviation Jobs seeks a Drone Pilot / Surveyor to perform aerial data collection, mapping, and surveying support on utility-scale solar EPC projects. You will use UAS, survey equipment, and mapping software to deliver accurate field data for engineering and project controls.

The role involves flight operations planning, data processing, and collaboration with project teams across multiple sites, with extensive travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related technical degree preferred.
• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate required.
• Experience operating drones for surveying, mapping, or construction.
• Knowledge of surveying principles, coordinate systems, and construction layout.
• Experience with aerial imagery for photogrammetry and mapping.
• Experience with GPS/GNSS and RTK survey equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct UAS flight operations on large solar construction sites in line with FAA regulations.
• Collect high-resolution aerial imagery and survey data for mapping and documentation.
• Produce ortho mosaics, DTMs, DSMs, and point clouds from photogrammetry.
• Support site surveying using GPS/GNSS, RTK, robotic total stations.
