Job summary

Landstar in Jacksonville is seeking an Equipment Compliance Coordinator to ensure all equipment meets DOT and FMCSA standards while supporting our network of independent owner-operators (BCOs). You’ll review inspections, interpret regulations, and guide drivers through compliance processes to keep operations safe and compliant.

Work schedule is 4 days on, 4 days off, 5am–5pm, onsite with option to work remote on weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in office coordination/administrative support or related roles.
• Familiarity with regulatory processes and documentation handling.

Responsibilities

• Provide resolution for equipment issues via phone and email.
• Review, interpret and update DOT inspections.
• Analyze tractor/trailer maintenance reports and federal inspections.
• Read and write routine reports and correspondence clearly.
• Enforce Equipment Compliance, DOT and Landstar policies with drivers.
• Assist with DOT drug and alcohol testing.
