Job summary

Nexus Family Healing is seeking a Donor Relations Specialist to implement stewardship, engagement, and donor communications that strengthen connections to the mission. You will manage personalized donor experiences and oversee recognition activities while maintaining a portfolio of mid-level donors.

Responsibilities include collaborating with teams to craft donor-centered content, supporting events, and ensuring accurate donor data in the CRM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in development, donor relations, stewardship, or related field.
• Strong writing and communication skills with a donor centered mindset.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Experience working with a nonprofit CRM or donor database.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive donor stewardship plan with consistent appreciation, communication, and engagement.
• Coordinate personalized stewardship touchpoints and recognition activities.
• Plan and execute donor engagement events, tours, and recognition gatherings.
• Create donor-centered content such as newsletters, donor stories, and annual stewardship reports.
• Review donor messaging to ensure alignment with fundraising strategy.
• Support development of stewardship event materials and talking points.
• Maintain a portfolio of mid-level donors and expand engagement.
