Job summary

Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition seeks a Donor Engagement Manager to lead engagement, stewardship, and fundraising initiatives that strengthen donor relationships and increase support. You will cultivate partnerships, communicate impact, and ensure accurate fundraising data in Salesforce.

The role focuses on retention, upgrade strategies, and timely donor communications, measuring success by retention, upgrade results, and data integrity for informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, nonprofit management, or a related field.
• At least five years of fundraising, donor relations, development operations, sales, or related experience.
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders in the nonprofit sector.

Responsibilities

• Engage with diverse donor groups (new, monthly, lapsed, corporate) through intentional contact.
• Develop annual donor engagement goals and strategies to increase retention and giving.
• Create retention and upgrade plans for all donor types and affinity groups.
• Coordinate donor recognition activities (thank you notes, events, public acknowledgments).
• Provide regular updates on impact to donors via email, mail, calls and in-person meetings.
