Job summary

OurCalling, Inc. is seeking a Donor Stewardship Specialist to nurture mid-level donors and grow giving aligned with our mission to serve the homeless community. You will work under the Director of Donor Services to foster generosity and support fund development and communications.

You will engage a portfolio of around 700 donors giving $1,000–$5,000 annually, delivering personalized touches and strategic asks while collaborating with teams for events and mission-focused conversations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years professional experience, ideally in a nonprofit setting.
• Ability to relate well and work with multiple constituencies.
• Ability to follow a process and stay on top of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Donor Engagement & Stewardship for about 700 mid-level donors.
• Execute engagement steps via email, calls, and notes to show appreciation.
• Cultivate relationships to grow donor giving.
• Make strategic asks to increase annual support.
• Support on-site donor events and engagements as needed.
• Communicate OurCalling's mission and impact to donors.
• Thank donors contributing $250+ as assigned.
• Advance donor maturation toward major gifts.
