Job summary

LifeNet Health is hiring a Transplant Coordinator to evaluate donor referrals, perform comprehensive donor assessments, and coordinate organ/tissue donation with transplant centers and hospital teams. You will support family decisions with sensitivity and ensure documentation is accurate and timely.

The role requires RN licensure, at least 2 years in critical care or related fields, and strong leadership and communication skills to guide staff and ensure compliance with OPTN/UNOS and AOPO

Qualifications

• 2 years critical care experience in Medical, Surgical Trauma, Thoracic Cardiovascular, Cardiac, Pediatric or ER.
• 2 years clinical experience as a RN.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Valid RN License - Active and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate organ and tissue donor referrals for suitability according to regulatory guidelines.
• Perform donor assessments including medical and social history review and hemodynamic evaluation.
• Coordinate full donation process and logistics with transplant centers and hospital teams.
• Provide training and mentorship to staff, demonstrating leadership and ethical decision-making.
