Job summary

American Public Media Group is seeking a Development Operations Specialist to support donor data, financial workflows, and PCI/audit compliance across national programs. This remote role emphasizes accurate data handling, process improvement, and collaboration with teams across philanthropy and finance.

You will maintain donor records, manage donations, and ensure SOPs are followed in a structured, remote environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
2+ years in gift/payment processing or related operations.
Experience with CRM systems preferred.
Remote work in a structured environment with strong time management.

Responsibilities

Process donations from multiple sources, including partner orgs, direct mail, web forms, telemarketing, payroll deductions, and more.
Manage monthly sustainer adjustments.
Reconcile and resolve payment declines and discrepancies.
Maintain and update records in the CRM databases, including Salesforce NPSP, with high accuracy.
Fulfill requests from internal teams (Staff, Philanthropy, Accounting, etc.).
Research data and error issues and provide timely resolutions.
Follow SOPs and contribute feedback to improve workflows and reduce rework.
Assist with data clean-up and process improvement projects as needed.
Complete other tasks as assigned in support of team goals.
