Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Principal Analyst - Senior Pricer with Federal DoD pricing expertise to lead pricing for federal proposals. The role reports to the Senior Director of Federal Pricing and collaborates closely with the Proposal Response Team.

This is a remote position within the United States. Responsibilities include competitive cost analysis, developing pricing strategies, and guiding the capture team on high-visibility opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Price to Win or pricing experience in government procurements.
• 2–5 years Federal DoD pricing experience in development/submittal of complex cost proposals.
• Advanced knowledge of cost estimating principles, methods and practices.

Responsibilities

• Read RFPs and prepare pricing clarifications.
• Validate inputs from divisions and consolidate prices.
• Perform cost analyses for complex proposals in line with FAR/CAS requirements.
• Identify financial risks and run what-if analyses with mitigation options.
• Present pricing highlights and risks to senior leadership.
