Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Remote-based Industrial Automation District Sales Manager to lead a territory from Atlanta, GA up through SC and eastern TN. You will work with channel partners and customers, driving growth in pneumatic and electric motion control products, while managing forecasts and reporting.

The role demands 2+ years in sales, technical aptitude, strong communication and negotiation skills, CRM experience, and willingness to travel ~50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industrial sales experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of related sales experience.
• Technical proficiency to understand issues and troubleshoot.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with ability to close deals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• CRM experience.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel 50% with overnight and extended travel within territory.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
