Emerson Electric Co. seeks a dynamic Industrial Automation District Sales Manager to lead a growing territory. The role is remote, covering Eastern Tennessee, Atlanta, GA, and up through South Carolina, with ideal alignment to Chattanooga, TN.

You will drive sales strategies, manage channel partners, and deliver solutions around pneumatic and electric motion control. The role demands a technical sales background, 2+ years in industrial sales, CRM proficiency, and the ability to travel up to 50%

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industrial sales experience.
Minimum of 2 years of related sales experience.
Technical proficiency to understand technical issues and troubleshoot.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness and ability to travel 50% with overnight and extended travel days.

Responsibilities

Sales Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to exceed sales targets within the assigned territory for Factory Automation Market.
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities and market trends and capitalize on them to drive revenue growth.
Build and maintain a sales pipeline focused on new customer acquisition, opportunity creation and closure.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of the competition.
