Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Sales professional to lead and grow the Industrial Automation District in a remote-capable role covering Eastern Tennessee, Atlanta area, and up through South Carolina. The DSM will manage customers and channel partners, focusing on pneumatic and electric motion control technologies, with a travel expectation of about 50% within the territory.

A minimum of 2 years of related sales experience.
Technical proficiency with the ability to understand technical issues and troubleshoot problems.
CRM experience and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement sales strategies to exceed targets within the Factory Automation territory.
Build and maintain a sales pipeline with focus on new customer acquisition and closure.
Engage channel partners and manage joint business plans to grow market share.
Provide product presentations and demonstrations of Emerson's pneumatic and motion control solutions.
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts and participate in budgeting.
