Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is hiring a District Parts Manager to support aftermarket parts sales and service across Minnesota, Michigan, Montana and the Dakotas. The role requires close collaboration with regional DPMs and dealer principals to implement programs and drive performance.

The position offers a salary range of $128,000 to $164,000 USD, plus bonus opportunities, comprehensive benefits, and paid time off. Candidates must reside within the supported territory and can work remotely.

Qualifications

• BS/BA +8 years of professional experience (or 3 years of direct relevant experience) or 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Office
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Improve operational performance of parts department at the dealers/distributor level
• Initiate innovative methods to modify dealer/distributor behavior to meet national aftermarket standards
• Conduct operations audits and provide recommendations for corrective action
• Establish harmonious relationships between Dealer/Distributor Principal and Parts Manager
• Collaborate with Dealer Principal to align on aftermarket parts objectives
• Provide field intelligence on program effectiveness, market trends and competitive activities
• Offer management advice to dealer/distributor personnel to reach marketing and financial goals
• Propose changes in facilities, personnel, and business planning as needed
• Analyze dealer/distributor financials and suggest pricing, cost control improvements
• Assist dealer/distributor in developing annual parts business plans
• Promote dealer/distributor parts sales programs and market analysis services
• Monitor territory performance and adjust sales plans to meet targets
• Regularly visit end customers with dealers/distributor personnel
• Analyze customer needs to improve aftermarket support
• Escalate dealer/distributor requests for training to appropriate teams
• Promote headquarters training programs and deliver on-site training
• Serve as technical consultant for systems activities
• Coordinate with headquarters IT and dealer/distributor staff
• Advance dealer/distributor sales effectiveness via DTNA programs
