Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking a District Parts Manager to provide aftermarket parts management support to dealers and distributors across Minnesota, Michigan, Montana and the Dakotas. The role requires remote work with relocation or residence within the supported territory and regular travel to dealer sites.

You will drive parts sales initiatives, implement programs, and collaborate with regional DPMs to meet national aftermarket standards.

Qualifications

• BS/BA +8 years of professional experience (or 3 years of direct relevant experience) or 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Office.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel 50% or more.
• Strong sales track record and product sales background.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce.
• Working knowledge of Tableau.
• Working knowledge of Excelerator.
• Experience with SKUgle.

Responsibilities

• Improve operational performance of parts department at the dealers/distributor level.
• Initiate innovative methods to improve dealer/distributor behavior towards national aftermarket standards.
• Conduct operations audits and provide corrective-action recommendations.
• Maintain relationships with Dealer/Distributor Principal and Parts Manager.
• Provide field intelligence on program effectiveness, market trends, and competitiveness.
• Promote and support headquarters training programs and on-site training.
