Job summary

Vert Environmental is seeking a highly organized remote Dispatcher to coordinate daily schedules and logistics for 20+ field technicians, supporting inspections and testing across California. You’ll optimize routes, manage courier services, and liaise with laboratories, the Technician Supervisor, and admin staff.

The role requires proactive scheduling decisions in a fast-paced environment, strong communication, and the ability to maintain accurate dispatch records while improving routing

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in dispatching, scheduling, logistics, or related role.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work remotely with a dedicated home office setup and reliable equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, scheduling systems, and routing/maps tools.
• Comfortable learning company-specific services and estimated service times.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize the daily dispatch schedule across service areas.
• Coordinate technician assignments based on location, availability, workload, and service times.
• Collaborate with supervisors to balance operational requirements and technician schedules.
• Monitor schedules in real-time and adjust for cancellations, delays, or conflicts.
• Serve as primary contact for field technicians on scheduling, routing, and logistics.
• Coordinate vehicle/equipment maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Manage courier and sample transportation logistics and deliveries.
• Use CRM and scheduling tools to maintain accurate assignments and notifications.
