Job summary

Ladders is seeking an Associate Director, Warehouse Design and Strategy, a remote role focusing on automation and network design across a multi-site aerospace logistics network. You will drive capacity planning, slotting optimization, and technology decisions to enhance storage and distribution efficiency.

Lead cross-functional teams with systems and data groups, and partner with third-party operators to implement scalable warehouse solutions while aligning with broader supply chain goals.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in warehousing planning, automation, or logistics.
• Experience in aerospace or manufacturing warehousing environments.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across business units.

Responsibilities

• Create standards for automation solutions in storage and layout governance.
• Perform facility capacity modeling and flow simulations.
• Design slotting, pick-path, and storage solutions with third-party operators.
• Evaluate emerging logistics technologies and assess their applicability.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive technology and automation plan for distribution sites.
• Collaborate with systems and data teams to integrate best practices into WMS and S4 designs.
• Support network design models by building DC expansion and consolidation plans.
