Job summary

Denali Advanced Integration in Redmond, WA, seeks a Director of Engineering - Logistics Automation & Material Handling to lead a distributed team of mechanical and electrical designers across regions, driving concepts to on-site deployment of advanced conveyance, robotic work-cells, and AMR solutions for fulfillment warehouses.

You will oversee full product lifecycles, enforce QMS/PLM procedures, define the architectural roadmap for warehouse automation, and collaborate with software, product,

Qualifications

• Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Redmond, Washington
• Education: Degree in Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, or Robotics Engineering
• Leadership Experience: Minimum 7+ years leading multidisciplinary teams across different offices and regions
• Domain Expertise: Proven track record in logistics and e-commerce fulfillment markets
• Systems & Quality Tools: Preferred knowledge of Arena PLM or equivalent enterprise QMS/PLM software platforms
• Technical Knowledge: Deep expertise in advanced conveyance and material handling
• Robotics & Autonomy: Direct experience integrating robotic work-cells and AMR solutions
• Controls Familiarity: Knowledge of PLC or IPC control frameworks and hardware integration
• Systems Engineering: Strong background in full-scale system integration and validation protocols

Responsibilities

• Distributed Leadership: Manage a multi-office, multi-regional team of mechanical and electrical designers
• Concept to Integration: Oversee entire product lifecycles from concept to full site deployment
• Process & Quality Compliance: Enforce QMS and PLM procedures
• Design Optimization: Accelerate design time-to-value while ensuring quality
• Technical Strategy: Define the architectural roadmap for warehouse automation ecosystems
• Advanced Engineering: Drive design of high-speed conveyors and robotic work-cells
• Mobile Automation: Guide development and integration of custom AMR solutions
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with software, product, sales, and regional teams
