Ladders is seeking an Associate Director, Warehouse Design and Strategy, a remote role focusing on automation and network design across a multi-site aerospace logistics network. You will drive capacity planning, slotting optimization, and technology decisions to enhance storage and distribution efficiency.

Lead cross-functional teams with systems and data groups, and partner with third-party operators to implement scalable warehouse solutions while aligning with broader supply chain goals.

• Collaborate with systems and data teams to integrate best practices into WMS and S4 designs.
• Support network design models by building DC expansion and consolidation plans.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Associate Director, Warehouse Design and Strategy (Remote) to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This role will shape warehouse design strategy across a complex logistics network, with a strong focus on automation, capacity planning, and distribution site optimization. The Associate Director will partner closely with systems, data, and third‑party operations teams to translate best practices into scalable warehouse and network design solutions. The work will support multi‑site operations, improve flow and storage efficiency, and guide technology decisions that strengthen the broader supply chain.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $157,200 – $298,800 annually

Responsibilities

• Create standards for automation solutions in storage and layout governance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in warehousing planning, automation, or logistics within aerospace or manufacturing.
• Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
• Experience managing cross‑functional teams across business units.
• Proven change management experience.
• Operational experience in multi‑site warehouse management.
