Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a seasoned Product Management leader for Utilization Management. You will direct strategy, roadmap, and value realization, partnering with UM operations and delivery to shape the UM portfolio and business outcomes.

The role requires 7 years in product management and 5 years in leadership, plus deep knowledge of health insurance dynamics and regulatory standards. Office- or remote-based position with travel as needed.

Qualifications

7 years of experience in product management, strategy, operational improvement, and/or consulting or related health insurance experience
5 years of experience in a management or leadership role
UM experience in payer/provider/health tech is preferred

Responsibilities

Lead UM product management teams including strategy, roadmap formulation, and value realization
Define and articulate a clear product vision and strategy across stakeholders
Develop and maintain a multi-year product roadmap aligned with strategic goals
Identify and develop relationships with stakeholders to foster collaboration and adjust roadmap
Lead product development from ideation to launch with cross-functional teams
Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Manage product backlog and track progress against timelines and budgets
Conduct user testing and feedback to improve usability and performance
Monitor product performance metrics and drive optimization and growth
Lead teams through complex organizational or strategic changes
Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders at all levels
Stay abreast of industry trends and ensure regulatory compliance
