Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Director, Software Development to lead our software teams and transform legacy applications into modern, scalable systems. This leader will drive Agile practices and collaborate with Product Owners and Enterprise leaders to deliver high-quality software on time and within budget.

You will mentor managers, oversee multiple development teams, and stay current with AI-enabled development to improve efficiency and delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT management experience leading software teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
• Experience with cloud-first development and microservices architectures.
• Experience with AI tooling to improve development delivery.
• Experience with .NET, SQL, Angular, Oracle, React.
• Experience with Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Experience applying agile methodologies.
• Experience developing advanced automation and performance testing frameworks.
• Experience delivering quality software using agile methods.
• Ability to align with compliance program objectives.

Responsibilities

• Execute with focus on execution, accountability, and results.
• Lead and mentor people, including hiring and performance development.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and leaders across Agile Delivery, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure and EPMO.
• Build strong relationships with application owners to deliver software meeting needs.
• Manage and develop a team of managers responsible for software development.
• Develop and maintain an accountable department delivering high-quality code.
• Stay current with modern software development tech, including AI, to evolve strategy.
• Establish and deliver KPIs and metrics for performance management.
• Communicate progress and status of development teams to stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
