Job summary

BC Platforms is seeking a Director of Business Development for Scientific Services to accelerate growth in global clinical research and data analytics. This senior role focuses on developing new opportunities, expanding strategic relationships, and delivering data-driven solutions that support drug development and evidence generation.

You will collaborate with clinical data management, biostatistics, and operations teams to shape customer offerings and drive revenue across a remote-first setup.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in business development, enterprise sales, or strategic partnerships in life sciences or CRO sectors.
• Proven ability to win and grow high-value service engagements.
• Strong network across pharma, biotech, and research organizations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute growth strategies for Scientific Services to meet revenue targets.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business with pharma, biotech, medical device, and research organizations.
• Build relationships with senior decision-makers and key stakeholders.
• Generate new business via networking, referrals, and market intelligence.
• Lead full sales lifecycle from engagement to contract and handover to delivery teams.
• Collaborate with clinical data management, biostatistics, and operations to design solutions.
• Coordinate responses to RFIs, RFPs, and bids.
• Translate customer needs into commercially viable service offerings.
• Maintain a strong pipeline and provide accurate forecasting.
• Represent BC Platforms at conferences and industry events.
• Monitor market developments to inform strategy and service development.
• Support expansion of existing relationships through additional services.
