Job summary

ACS Professional Staffing is seeking a Director of Transmission Line Engineering for a national power delivery engineering consulting client. The role directs planning, design, and execution of transmission line projects and leads multidisciplinary teams.

Remote position open to qualified candidates across the United States; requires 12+ years, ABET engineering degree, and a Professional Engineer (PE) license. Salary is $225,000 DOE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or graduate degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• 12+ years of experience in the electric utility industry.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the engineer of record and client point of contact for power delivery projects.
• Lead a team of 6-10 direct reports and a 30-40 resource extended team.
• Prepare, review, and seal technical calculation reports and construction documents.
