Humana Inc. is seeking a remote Director of Provider Operations to oversee a large operations team supporting VA CCN Credentialing and Provider Data Loading.

You will define strategy, align with business goals, and drive efficiency while collaborating with Humana Military and Provider teams. The role requires a robust background in healthcare operations leadership, government-captured experience (DoD), and the ability to scale teams for new implementations.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required due to Department of Defense contract.
• Interim approval for NBIS background check required.
• Not eligible to hire in Puerto Rico under the government contract.
• Minimum 7 years of management of 15+ associates.
• Minimum 10 years of healthcare operations leadership experience.
• Minimum 5 years building a large-scale operations team for a new implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a large operations team supporting VA CCN Credentialing and Provider Data Loading.
• Define operational strategy and priorities aligned with business goals; ensure efficient, reliable, and cost-effective infrastructure.
• Collaborate across Provider teams and Humana Military to improve manual processes, data quality, and automation priorities; monitor KPIs, staffing, and capacity.
