Job summary

Orion Solutions Group seeks a Director of Sales & Business Development to shape the future of intermodal logistics by expanding port and rail drayage networks across the Southeast. This remote role offers autonomy to build your own strategic footprint.

You will lead strategic plans, pursue high-value prospects, manage client relationships, present and negotiate contracts, and collaborate with operations to ensure seamless delivery while representing the company at industry events.

Qualifications

• Established book of business in intermodal drayage.
• Deep knowledge of port/rail operations and 3PL solutions.
• Proven success selling import/export drayage services.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic sales plans to grow intermodal drayage across major US markets.
• Identify and pursue high-value prospects including BCOs, NVOCCs, IMCs, freight forwarders, and 3PLs.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to deliver tailored drayage solutions.
• Lead sales presentations, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Partner with internal operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery.
• Representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and deliver sales forecasts to senior leadership.
