Job summary

Eurest, a Compass Group company, is seeking a Director of Finance to oversee all financial aspects of the school nutrition program and drive the account’s financial strategy and planning. You will be responsible for the financial performance assessment, revenue/expense reporting, and monthly close in a GAAP framework.

Lead budgeting and forecasting, provide insights to operating units, ensure internal controls, and collaborate with regional leadership to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; 5+ years of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret financial reports and legal documents; communicate to management.
• Strong SAP, Excel, PowerPoint and Access skills.
• Excellent organization and time management; manage shifting priorities.
• Knowledge of GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Prepares monthly management reports and ad hoc requests.
• Guides operating units on client returns and PBO goals.
• Assists budgeting and forecasting with what-if scenarios.
• Maintains GAAP-compliant financial statements and reports.
• Implements internal financial policies and procedures.
• Reviews results and performs monthly variance reporting.
• Ensures security of financial information per regulations.
• Prepares annual budget with regional VP.
