Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is seeking a Director of Finance to oversee all financial aspects of the campus account, drive financial strategy, and deliver GAAP-compliant reporting.

You will manage budgeting, forecasting, revenue/expense reporting, A/P, A/R, and monthly reporting, with SAP/Excel proficiency; remote role with growth opportunities and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; 5+ years of related experience in reporting and analysis.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, regulatory documents; strong written communication and presentation skills.
• Independent thinking with problem definition, data collection, and fact-based conclusions; detail-oriented with data analysis.
• Strong experience with SAP, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
• Strong organization and time management to handle multiple priorities with accuracy and timeliness.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Responsibilities

• Prepares and analyzes monthly management reporting, new rebid and lost business reporting, weekly business owner reports, and ad hoc requests.
• Provides direction to operating units on client returns and PBO goals.
• Assists in budgeting and forecasting with scenario analysis.
• Develops and maintains GAAP-compliant financial statements and reports.
• Implements internal accounting policies and procedures.
• Reviews monthly results and implements variance reporting.
• Ensures security of financial information per current legislation.
• Prepares annual budget in consultation with regional VP.
