Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Director of Finance to oversee all financial aspects of the business and steer the account’s financial strategy and planning. You will assess the financial performance of the school nutrition program and support accounting and control functions, including revenue and expense reporting, accounts payable, receivable, and monthly closing.

The role requires five+ years in finance with strong SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; five+ years of related experience including reporting and analysis.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, and to communicate findings to leadership.
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and analyzes monthly Management Reporting and Ad Hoc requests.
• Provides direction to units on client returns and goals.
• Assists in budgeting and forecasting with scenario planning.
• Develops and maintains timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Implements and ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Reviews monthly results and variance reporting.
• Ensures security and compliance of financial information.
• Leads annual budget preparation in consultation with regional VP.
