Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company seeks a Director of Construction Services Business Development - Commercial Lines to lead a team of Territory Managers and Field Underwriters. This remote role requires travel and will manage commercial lines sales and underwriting relationships across a defined territory.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in commercial underwriting, strong leadership, and proven ability to drive growth through broker partnerships and portfolio optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• CPCU/CIC designation preferred.
• Ten years of commercial line underwriting, sales, marketing and agency management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Construction Services Territory Managers and Field Underwriters to manage sales and underwriting relationships for commercial lines.
• Drive growth by expanding agency relationships and portfolio performance.
• Develop and implement underwriting strategy and pricing within guidelines.
• Monitor performance and drive profitability across the territory.
