Job summary

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Construction Services Territory Manager to market, manage and underwrite commercial line business through select agencies. This role emphasizes profitability, agency development and effective pricing for complex accounts.

You will drive production, negotiate plans, monitor market conditions, and coordinate with internal partners to maximize territory results while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor0s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Seven years of progressively responsible underwriting and sales experience in commercial line business.
• Knowledge of commercial underwriting, pricing and coverage for middle market business.
• Ability to build and maintain cooperative internal and external partnerships.
• Proven leadership and ability to manage a heavy workload and travel.

Responsibilities

• Markets Nationwide products and services to drive agency and company results.
• Develops and maintains strong relationships with agencies, producers and key groups.
• Underwrites and prices new and renewal policies for complex or service sensitive accounts.
• Drives agency visits to develop new accounts, renewals and improve performance.
• Leads delivery of customer service levels and ensures proper handling of service requests.
• Trades information with agencies to optimize profitability and market positioning.
