Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Senior Territory Manager, Construction Services Business Development - Commercial Lines for a remote role. You will work with middle market accounts in construction services, market and underwrite through select agencies, and drive profit and premium to meet financial goals.

You will collaborate with internal partners to expand Nationwide presence, manage complex accounts, and mentor team members while traveling within the territory as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Certification CPCU/CIC preferred.
• At least 7 years underwriting and sales experience in commercial business.
• Strong knowledge of commercial underwriting, pricing and agency relationships.

Responsibilities

• Monitors market conditions and researches risk to win accounts.
• Analyzes risk quality and prepares reports; reviews agency books and trends.
• Quotes, prices and underwrites new and renewal policies for complex accounts.
• Manages workflow and ensures file handling quality and efficiency.
• Drives agency business planning and pipeline management; identifies growth opportunities.
• Markets Nationwide products to drive agency and company results; assists in strategy.
