Job summary

CoAd is seeking a Director, Learning and Development to build and lead an integrated enterprise learning program for ~800 employees across payroll, HCM, and services. You will unify current training into a scalable approach that strengthens leadership and business performance.

Reporting to the CHRO, you will lead the L&D team, own strategy, standards, tech, and measurement for onboarding, professional development, manager and leadership development, and technical training across functions.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years in learning and development with at least 3 years leading teams.
• Experience transforming a learning function in a growing organization or merger.
• Experience spanning leadership development and technical/operational training.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning, instructional design, facilitation and assessment of job proficiency.
• Experience establishing learning governance, managing platforms and vendors, and measuring outcomes.
• Ability to lead direct reports and influence cross-functional stakeholders across a distributed organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (HR, OD, Education, Business) or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop an enterprise learning strategy and roadmap aligned to business goals.
• Oversee job-specific training across payroll, service, implementation, sales, product and tech.
• Lead leadership development, coaching, and career-growth programs.
• Create a consistent onboarding experience and blended learning delivery.
• Manage learning technology, content libraries, and vendor relationships; promote AI-enabled learning.
• Build and develop the L&D team and report on outcomes and impact.
