Job summary

CoAd seeks a Director of Learning and Development to build and lead an integrated enterprise learning program for ~800 employees across PEO, payroll, agency, and HCM services. You will unify training into a scalable approach that strengthens leadership, capability, and business performance.

Reporting to the CHRO, you will lead the L&D team, own strategy, standards, and measurement, and partner with leaders to align learning with service quality and growth.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years in learning and development or related field with team leadership.
• Experience formalizing or transforming a learning function in a growing org.
• Experience spanning leadership and technical/operational training.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning, instructional design, and blended learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise learning strategy and program development aligned to business goals.
• Oversee job-specific training across payroll, service, implementation, sales, and tech.
• Define role competencies, learning pathways, and proficiency assessments.
• Establish ownership models and governance for learning standards and outcomes.
• Prepare employees for platform changes, new products, and tech adoption.
• Lead the L&D team and collaborate with senior leaders on development opportunities.
