Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to act as a national SME in Commercial Property & Casualty insurance and agency operations. You will partner with leadership to drive workflow standardization, process optimization, and scalable growth across the organization.

Ideal candidates will have 5–7+ years in operational leadership within a large brokerage, active P&C license, and CPCU/CIC designation.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large broker/agency.
• Strong expertise in agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Commercial Lines strategy development with senior leadership to improve operations and performance.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable, high-impact solutions.
• Standardize workflows, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvements to boost productivity and client outcomes.
• Analyze root causes and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Plan workforce capacity to support growth and operational excellence.
• Align Managed Services with strategic goals and optimize resource use.
• Provide SME guidance on P&C operations, systems, and best practices.
• Support M&A integration through assessment, planning, and workflow alignment.
• Collaborate with producers, ops and leadership to drive execution.
