Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead nationwide operations with a focus on workflow standardization and scalable processes. A valid Property & Casualty license is required, with CPCU/CIC designation preferred.

Candidates should have 5–7+ years in commercial lines leadership within a large broker/agency and a proven ability to drive results. This fully remote role prefers Central Time Zone hours, with occasional onsite as needed per policy.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU or CIC designation preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large broker/agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, and optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and process improvement.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with regional leaders.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Standardize workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to boost productivity and quality.
• Perform root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze staffing and capacity to support growth and excellence.
• Collaborate with Managed Services to align resources with goals.
• Serve as national Commercial P&C subject matter expert.
• Support M&A integration and operational transformation.
• Foster collaboration with producers, ops teams, and leadership.
• Promote effective use of EPIC, reporting tools, and tech platforms.
• Drive performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead change management and professional development.
